What is a WHS Policy?

A WHS Policy (Workplace Health and Safety Policy) outlines the obligations for both a business and its employees under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth). The policy outlines how your business will provide a safe workplace for your employees, contractors and visitors, protect them from injury and illness and promote their welfare.

Having a good workplace health and safety policy in your business helps to ensure risks are identified and managed appropriately.

What We Offer

Do I need it?

Yes! Business owners have an obligation to provide a safe workplace for their workers and other people that interact with their business. Part of this duty is to identify and eliminate or reduce risks. A WHS Policy sets out clear guidelines as to how your staff and others need to contribute to a safe workplace.
