What business structure should I use?
The most common business structures in Australia are sole trader, partnership, company and trust. These range from easy, cheap options to more complex structures with ongoing maintenance required. The type of structure that is right for you will depend on the nature of your business. It’s also important to understand that some of these structures offer more protection than others, so it’s a good idea to get professional structuring advice as soon as possible.
